
Agnes is survived by her five daughters, Sharon K. (Mike) Saltzberry, Marsha L. (Kent) Pitlik, Kathryn L. (John) Grosman, Sandra J. (Richard) Krause and Michelle E. (Carl) Monefeldt; two sons, Kelly J. (Linda) Peterson, and John P. (Deb) Peterson.
She is also survived by twenty grandchildren, Heidi (Todd) Muehlenberg, Patrick (Amy) Saltzberry, Holly Saltzberry and fiancé Jeff Centell, Matthew (Suann) Saltzberry, Gary (Allison) Pitlik, Brian (Mary) Pitlik, Julie (Brian) Stefonek, Wendy (Scott) Plehn, Carolyn (George) Lurvey, Bradley and Michelle Pitlik, Christopher Grosman and Andrew (Beth) Grosman, Paul (Faith) and Scott (Terri) Krause, Peter and Kathleen Monefeldt, Erin and Eoin Peterson, Christopher and Kayla Peterson.
Agnes is further survived by twenty-five great grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter. She is also survived by two brothers and two sisters, along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
Agnes was preceded in death by her husband, John T. Peterson, on January 4, 1999; one great-granddaughter, Emma Grosman; and eleven brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held at Sturino Funeral Home on Thursday July 9, 2009, at 6:30 p.m. with Rev. Steve Wohlfeil of Bethania Lutheran Church officiating. Private burial will be held at Southern Wisconsin Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery. There will be a visitation at Sturino Funeral Home on Thursday from 4:30 p.m. until service time.
In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested memorials to one’s favorite charity.
