
Mary Ann found great enjoyment in gardening, camping in Door County and with her husband traveled throughout the United States, viewing and enjoying all 50 states, along with traveling extensively throughout Europe.
Mary Ann is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Glenn; three sons, Laurence (Marianne) Poehls, of Glendale, California, William (Mary) Poehls of Hartland, and John of Racine; two grandchildren, Jessica and Jacob Poehls; and two sisters in law. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. Mary Ann was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Jean Marie; and three brothers, William, Eugene and Steven Lengell.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 2201 Northwestern Ave., on Monday, October 20, 2008, at 10 a.m., with Rev. Ronald Crewe officiating. Burial will be held at Southern Wisconsin Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery. There will be a visitation at the church on Monday, from 9 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Sacred Heart Church, or Trinity Lutheran Church have been suggested by the Poehls family.
