
She is survived by her nine children, Dianne (John) Eschmann, Thomas (Doris) Dresen, Catherine Petrouske (Ray Knapp), Edward (Dianne) Dresen, Louis (Judy) Dresen, Margaret (Larry) Spaulding, Suzanne (Roger) Spaulding, Nancy (Douglas) Helker, Steven (Mary) Dresen;
19 grandchildren, Sandra, John, Denise, Robert, Gregory, Timothy, Karen, Ava, Katherine, Louis, Larry, Joseph, Kenneth, Andrew, Lisa, Tracy, Alexander, Matthew, and Samantha; 25 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Irene (Carl) Hunter, Ruth Botting; special friends, Gail and Duane Nelson; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Richard Petrouske; her infant grandson, Thomas Dresen; two brothers, Eugene and Walter Mansell; and sister, Louise Landon.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 2201 Northwestern Ave., on Thursday, October 15, 2009, at 10 a.m. with Rev. Ronald O. Crewe officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Family Cemetery, Caledonia. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Wednesday at the funeral home from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. and Thursday at the church from 9:15 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. Memorials to St. Vincent De Paul Society or to Sacred Heart Catholic Church have been suggested.
The family wishes to extend special thanks to doctors and nursing staff at Wheaton Franciscan All Saints Medical Center and to Lincoln Lutheran Convalescent Center Therapy staff for their loving and compassionate care.
