Diana L. (Harlow) Lucareli

Surrounded by her loving family, Diana L. Lucareli, age 72, passed away Thursday, April 25, 2013.  Diana was born in Racine on August 28, 1940, daughter of the late Charles and Irene (Nee:  Perfetto) Harlow.

On September 10, 1960, she was united in marriage to Robert E. Lucareli, who preceded her in death, March 6, 2001. Diana is a former member of Junior League of Racine, Italian American Ladies Auxiliary Club, and she was an active volunteer in the community throughout her life. Diana’s life revolved around her family, especially her grandchildren who she adored.  She will be dearly missed.

Survivors include her children, Jon (Gerilynn) Lucareli of Marshfield, Colleen Lucareli of Kenosha, Adam Lucareli, Steffanie (Michael) West, all of Racine; her grandchildren, Jessica, Joe, Ashlynn and Kate Lucareli, Justin, Pamela and Matthew Kauth, Charlie and Cullen West; sisters, Charlene (Gene) Schaetten, Cynthia (Dan) Heried; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Richard Anderson, Leigh (Peggy) Lucareli, Les Lee (Ann) Lucareli; nieces, nephews, other relatives and  many dear friends.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Florence Anderson.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 30, 2013, at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Richard Molter officiating.  Interment will follow at the Southern Wisconsin Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, Town of Dover.  Relatives and friends may meet with the family Tuesday at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11:30 a.m.  Memorials to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN  38105 have been suggested.
