
Surviving are her husband, Orv; daughters, Sue (Gary Norbert) Ball of Racine and Patty (Shane) Johansen of Franksville; grandchildren, Elizabeth (fiancé John) Ball, Tony (fiancée Adrienne) Johansen and Kim Johansen; mother, Elizabeth Mueller of Franksville; brother, Tom (Romi) Mueller of Racine; step-children, Andy (Jennifer) Kothe of Franksville, Dawn Kothe of Racine and Dan (Terri) Kothe of Kokomo, IN; step-grandchildren, Rachel, Eric and Kaci. She is further survived by “My Special Friend” Shirley and her husband Dan Petersen, Joyce and Jim Smith, the girls from the cleaners and aunt and dear friend, Betty Lou.
She was preceded in death by her father, Carl, on January 2, 1975.
Funeral services will be held at Sturino Funeral Home on Thursday, September 18, 2008, at 5 p.m. There will be a visitation at the funeral home on Thursday afternoon from 3 p.m. until time of service. Private burial will be held at Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Wheaton Franciscan, Cancer Care-All Saints 3809 Spring Street, Racine, WI, 53405, have been suggested.
A very special heartfelt thank you to Dr. Choi, everyone at the Cancer Center and all the nurses and staff who went above and beyond caring for Geri during her illness. In our time of need the entire staff not only became caregivers but also dear friends. Thank You
