He was a lifelong resident of Racine, born on December 29, 1951, the son of James and Elizabeth ‘Betty’ (nee: Oppmann) Kurz. He had been employed for many years at Ganton Industries. Michael was an avid golfer, who loved sports and Nascar. He had been a longtime volunteer for Harborfest.Surviving are his daughter, Megan (Derrick McNaughton) Kurz; fiancé, Sherry Czarnik; other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Kris Flanagan.
There will be a time for family and friends to meet at Sturino Funeral Home on Sunday, September 21, 2008, from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m.
