
Survivors include his seven children, Grace (Christos) Kourtsidis of Canada, Dimitri (Theodoula) Evreniadis of Greece, Stephanie Larsen, Mary (Ted) Karapanos, Stavros Evreniadis, Olympia (Lefterios) Veziridis, and Joseph (Virginia) Evreniadis of Racine. There are 21 grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sophia, in 2004; a brother, Hajis; sister-in-law, Anne; and a great-grandson, James Efraim.
Visitation and funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 27, 2009, at Kimissis Theotokou Greek Orthodox Church, 1335 S. Green Bay Rd. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. followed by funeral services at 11 a.m. with Rev, John Ketchum officiating. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorials to the church have been suggested.
