Patricia J. (Glass) Pfost

Patricia J. Pfost, age 77, entered God’s loving arms on Monday, September 30, 2013, at the age of 77. Patricia was born in Biwabik, Minnesota, April 20, 1936, daughter of the late Thomas and Mary (Nee: Riley) Glass.

On June 28, 1962, she was united in marriage to Arthur T. Pfost. She taught 3rd Grade at Janes School for many years. Pat will be fondly remembered as an excellent teacher and a     great conversationalist with a huge range of knowledge on various topics.

She was the loving wife to the late, Arthur T. Pfost; loving mom to Charlie Pfost, Mary (Paul) Saunders, Frances (late David M. Groth); cherished grandmother to Luke and Ella Saunders; loving aunt, cousin, and friend to many.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2013, at 11:30 a.m. at St. Rita Catholic Church, 4339 Douglas Avenue. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the church on Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of Mass at 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Racine Interfaith Coalition, St. Rita Catholic Church or the charities of one’s choice have been suggested.
