Peter James 'Pete' Miller

Peter James ‘Pete’ Miller of Racine, age 58, passed away on August 28, 2014, in a vehicular accident. Peter was born in Racine to the late Thomas Jr. and Marylou (Powers) Miller.

He graduated from Park High School, Moody Bible Institute, Chicago, and Wheaton College, Illinois. His loving spirit enriched the lives of many people. He had many interests, including playing and officiating volleyball.

Peter’s life was built around his love for family, holding them and friends above his personal interests. Peter will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his sisters, Peggy (Bob) Korlewitz, West Chester, OH, and Nancy Anne Miller and Brian Verkuilen, Eagle River, WI; brothers, Thomas (Sue) Miller III, Menomonie, WI, and James Miller, Menomonie, WI; his niece and nephew, Megan (Mark) Wesco, and Rob Korlewitz; close friend, Victoria.

Friends and relatives may meet the family on Sunday, September 7, 2014, at Calvary Memorial Church, 4001 Washington Ave., at 2 p.m. The funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. Nathan James, Teaching Pastor of Calvary Memorial Church, will officiate.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Peter Miller, will be donated to this church that meant so much to the Miller family.
