Royal J. Bennett, age 82, passed away on Tuesday, December 2, 2014, at the Elizabeth Residence. Royal was born on February 16, 1932, in Lansing, MI, son of the late Royal T. and Marie (Nee: Cushman) Bennett.
On December 3, 1949, he was united in marriage to Beverly E. Heath, who preceded him in death on September 23, 2011.
Survivors include his son, David (Jacquelyn) Bennett of Racine; his daughters-in-law, Cindy Bennett of Unity, WI, Delores Bennett of Racine; nine grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Robert (Mary) Heath of Fenwick, Michigan; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his two sons, Danial and Dana; and sister and two brothers.
Private services were held with interment at the Bohemian National Cemetery.
