Mary L. (Keyes) Bomier

Surrounded by her loving family, Mary L. Bomier, age 84, passed away Monday, October 18, 2010, at Manor Care of Pewaukee. Mary was born in Highland, WI, April 25, 1926, daughter of the late Michael and Laura (Nee: Muldoon) Keyes.

On January 15, 1947, at St. Paul’s Chapel at the University of Wisconsin Campus. Mary was united in marriage to George W. Bomier, who preceded her in death, May 17, 2002. Mary was a member of St. Lucy’s Catholic Church and volunteered at St. Luke’s Hospital for many years. Her pastimes included playing cards, reading, crossword puzzles and tending to her garden. Mary was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who will be dearly missed.

Survivors include her children, Michael (Maria Butkus) Bomier of Madison, WI, Diane M. Foss (Kevin Paupore) of Delafield, WI; her three grandchildren, Justin (Melissa) Foss, Jeremy Foss (Becky Biernat), Danielle Foss; sisters-in-law, Marguerite Keyes of Belmont, WI, Dorothy Bomier of Green Bay, WI, Gloria Bomier of Neenah, WI; her beloved dog, Bailey; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Donald and Norbert Keyes.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, October 28, 2010, at 11 a.m. at St. Lucy’s Catholic Church, 3101 Drexel Ave., with Rev. Mark R. Jones officiating. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Wednesday at the funeral home from 4-7 p.m. and on Thursday at the church from 10:30 a.m. until time of Mass.
