Helen E. (Golden) Cole

Helen E. Cole, age 70, passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2013, at Kindred Rehabilitation, Kenosha. Helen was born in St. Louis, Missouri, on July 28, 1943. She was raised daughter of the late Clytee (Nee: Johnson) and Raymond Golden Sr.

Helen was a dedicated member of Greater Grace Temple, where she served on the Mother Board, Usher Board, and was a prayer warrior. She loved planting and gardening. Above all, she cherished her family and will be deeply missed.

Survivors include her son, Paidlo (Mijanou) Cole of Merrill; three grandchildren, Celine, Terrence and Ginessa; other relatives and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thurman Cole.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2013, at 9:30 a.m. at Greater Grace Temple, 522 North Memorial Drive, with Rev. Jerry Cornett officiating. Interment will follow at Graceland Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet with the family on Friday at the funeral home from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. and Saturday at the church from 9 a.m. until time of service at 9:30 a.m.
