Surrounded by her loving family, Aidee Covelli, age 33, passed away Monday, March 19, 2012, at Season’s Hospice House, Waukesha, WI, following complications from a liver transplant. Aidee was born in Chicago, IL, on December 21, 1978, daughter of Israel Luis Sr. and Florina (Nee: Nevarez).
She was a graduate of William Horlick High School. On May 17, 2003, in Green Lake, WI she was united in marriage to Paul Covelli. Aidee was employed by Saginaw Engineering Controls. She was an active and lifelong member of Cristo Rey Catholic Church. She loved dancing and was involved in many cultural events and community projects including Club Tlacolula, Oaxaca, the Hispanic Roundtable, The Spanish Tenant Training Committee and as a facilitator for Study Circles.
Survivors include her husband, Paul; her parents, Israel (Angelina) Luis, Florina (Christopher) Croson; her brothers, Israel Luis Jr., Mario Luis, Abraham Luis; her grandparents, Celia Castillo, Don and Mary Croson, Emilia Covelli; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Robert (Heather) Covelli, Jennifer Covelli; mother-in-law, Marsha Covelli; father-in-law, Paul Covelli Sr.; other relatives and dear friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, March 24, 2012, at 10 a.m. at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, 801 College Ave. Interment will be held at Calvary Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Friday at the funeral home from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. and Saturday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass at 10 a.m.
