Nick was the beloved husband of Kathleen; loving father of Michele (Scott) Hoffman of Wauwatosa, John (Suellen) Krahn, Mike (Teresa) Krahn, all of Racine; devoted and proud grandfather “aka Bumpa” to Jennifer and Mackenzie Hoffman, Nicholas, Becca and Josh Krahn, and Eris Krahn; his caring siblings, Judy (Vic) Weinfurter of Kenosha, Linda (Larry) Kapellucsh of Racine, Larry (Linda) Krahn of Black River Falls; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, William (Pat) Chiapete, Rick (Linda) Chiapete, Randy (Patty) Chiapete, Tom (Kris) Chiapete, Jonna Chiapete; nieces, nephews, many dear relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Ronald Chiapete.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, March 7, 2012, at 6 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 2201 Northwestern Ave., with Rev. Ronald O. Crewe officiating. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Wednesday at the church from 4 p.m. until 5:45 p.m. Memorials may be given in Nick’s name to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312 or the Racine Zoological Society, 200 Goold Street, Racine, WI 53402.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the doctors and caregivers at Wheaton Franciscan – All Saints ICU for their loving and compassionate care.
