Mrs. Cynthia A. (nee: Pease) Fornary, 86, passed away at Wheaton Fransican Healthcare- All Saints on Thursday, March 1, 2012.
Cynthia was born in Racine on February 20, 1926, daughter of the late Lawrence and Daisy (Driver) Pease. She was united in marriage to James Fornary, who preceded her in death in 1982.
Mrs. Fornary was an avid outdoorswoman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. She belonged to the conservation club and had once been active in the Roma Lodge. She loved curling and one of her proudest achievements was when her team won the Wisconsin State curling championship.
Cynthia leaves behind eight grandchildren, Julie Fornary and Mike Hughes, James Fornary, Jill Fornary, John Fornary, Jody Statz, Chris Mortensen, Diane Ray and Jamie Knight; nine great-grandchildren; niece, Nancy DeMark; nephew James Pease, and many other dear relatives and friends.
Funeral services in honor of Cynthia will be held at Mound Cemetery Chapel on Thursday, March 15, 2012, at 1:30 p.m. Relatives and friends may meet with the family on Thursday from 1 p.m. until the time of service.
