Gloria Oberdorfer, age 87, passed away Saturday, March 3, 2012, at Lakeshore Manor. Gloria was born in Manitowoc, WI, on November 2, 1924, daughter of the late Anton and Anna Jacoboski and had been a resident of Racine since 1958. She was a member of St. Rita Catholic Church.
Survivors include her five sons and daughter, Jim Oberdorfer, Jon (Michelle) Oberdorfer, Jeff Oberdorfer, Jerry Oberdorfer, Joe (Terry) Oberdorfer and Mary (Bob) Rice, all of Racine; her four grandchildren, Shannon, Brian, Amy and Annie; nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Claude E. Oberdorfer; and her siblings, Urban (Vi), Marie (Leonard) and Martha (Roland).
Private services were held with interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Hwy 32.
The family would like to thank the entire staff at Lakeshore Manor.
