Charles P. Dagnon

Charles P. Dagnon, “Chuck,” age 74, passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2012, at Wheaton Franciscan All Saints Medical Center. He was born in Bell Center, WI, January 12, 1938, son of the late Laurel and Alice (Nee: Hiam) Dagnon. Chuck graduated from Gay Mills High School and moved to Racine in 1964.

On April 7, 1979, he was united in marriage to Gloria Iverson who passed away this past January 29. Chuck was retired from S.C. Johnson where he was employed for 30 years. He also owned and operated Chuck’s Insulating Co. Chuck was an avid golfer and bowler who also enjoyed hunting, gardening, woodworking and restoring antique furniture. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who will be dearly missed.

Survivors are his daughters, Charlene (Bill) Thomas, Wendy Dagnon (Frances Phillips), Michele (Scott) Ferraro; step-daughters, Jannelle Otto (Vladi Tomasek), Sonja (Bill) Luczyk; grandchildren, Jason, Joshua, Adam, April, Marco, Nico, Anthony, Brandon, Amannda, Noelle and Gillian; numerous great-grandchildren; brother, Harold Dagnon; sisters-in-law, Sandra Rae and Joyce Iverson; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.

A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, April 22, 2012, at 6 p.m. at the funeral home with Reverend Warren Williams officiating.   Private interment will be held at Utica Cemetery, Utica, WI.  Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home Sunday from 4 p.m. until time of service. Memorials to American Heart Association have been suggested.
