Marie Gertrude Ferg

Marie G. (nee: LaFave) Ferg, 81, went to be home with her Lord on Saturday, April 14, 2012, at Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare-All Saints.

Marie was born on April 8, 1931, in Racine to the late Joseph and Ellen (nee: Jacobsen) LaFave. She enjoyed reading and watching TV but most of all, she had a love for her family and the Lord.

She will be dearly missed by her children, Rose Ferg and Robert (Ruby) Ferg; grandchildren, Jill Malloy, Brian, Robert Jr., Tracey and Adrienne Ferg; as well as numerous great- and great-great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her former husband Elmer Ferg; her twin sister, Lois Jonkowski; brother, Kenneth LaFave; and her beloved cat, Emma.

Funeral Services in honor of Marie will be held at Wilson Funeral Home on Thursday, April 19, 2012, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Laurie Ganiere. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family on Thursday at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
