She was a member of St. Rita Catholic Church. Diane was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother who cherished time with her family. She will be deeply missed.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Peter (Susan) Danowski of Caledonia, Dennis (Kimberly) Danowski of Barnes, David (LeAnn) Danowski of Waterford; her five grandchildren, Jacob and Alex, Jordan, Dalton and Evan; brothers and sisters, Charles (Marlene) Zeiler of Metropolis IL, James (Susan) Zeiler of Webster, Kathy Schattner of Union Grove, Elaine (Dick) Reesman of Mukwonago, Mary (Mike) Spalding of Tichigan, Janet (Mark) Shimkus of Racine; sister-in-law, Margie Zeiler of Waterford; Very Special Friend, Paul Zierk of Racine; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, John Danowski, and brother, John Zeiler.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Rita Catholic Church, 4339 Douglas Ave., on Friday, June 8, 2012, at 11 a.m. Interment will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery, Waterford, WI. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Friday at the church from 10 a.m. until time of Mass at 11 a.m. Memorials to St. Rita Catholic Church or to Froedtert Memorial Hospital Transplant Clinic have been suggested.
