Hannelore 'Hanno' E. (Cziossek) Struebing

Surrounded by her loving family, Hannelore “Hanno” E. Struebing, age 76, passed away Sunday, June 10, 2012, at Wheaton Franciscan–All Saints Medical Center.  She was born in Konigsberg, Germany, on September 6, 1935, daughter of the late Erich and Erika (Nee:  Ewert) Cziossek.

On April 14, 1956, in Hamburg, Germany, she was united in marriage to Roy “Bud” J. Struebing, who preceded her in death on December 20, 2006.  They moved to Racine in March of 1957, where they made it their home.

Survivors include her seven children, Robert (Veronica) Struebing, Marlies (Dennis) Pias, Terry (Judy) Struebing, Jeffrey (Michelle) Struebing, Timothy (Kristin) Struebing, Tracy (Dan Jr.) Strommen, Kevin Struebing; 26 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.

Private funeral services will be held with interment at Southern Wisconsin Veteran’s Cemetery, Town of Dover.   Memorials to the American Cancer Society have been suggested.
