Edwin E. Oien

Edwin E. Oien, age 72, passed away Thursday, September 23, 2010, at his Sturtevant residence. He was born in Kingsford, MI, on February 2, 1938, son of the late earl and Helen (Nee: Behrens) Oien.

On August 11, 1962, Ed was united in marriage to Gail J. Adkins. Ed was employed by American Motors and then by Chrysler Corporation for 48 ½ years until his retirement in 2008.

Surviving are his wife, Gail; daughter, Kim Wilson; granddaughter, Angela Wilson; four brothers and one sister. In addition to his parents, he also was preceded in death by one brother.

Private funeral services were held. Memorials to Orphaned Kanines, 1922 Kremer Ave., Racine, WI 53402, have been suggested by the family.
