George is survived by his seven children, Sharon Kroes of Yakima, WA, Diane (Al) Sinner, Randall (Joann) Kroes, Debbie (Jim) Roeder, Jeanne Kroes (Ray Wagner), Julie (Dan) Nelson, Ron Kroes, all of Racine; six grandchildren, Brian (Tracy) Sinner, Karen (Carl) Johnson, Gina Sinner, Kelly, Craig, and Mark Roeder; three great-grandchildren, step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters and brothers, Mary Zerzanek, Dorie Madala, Josie Polcin, Paul Kroes, Ted (Lorrie) Kroes; sisters-in-law, Elaine Kroes, Pat Kroes. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends including his “George Webb Family.”
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his brothers, John (Pat) Kroes, Lambert Kroes, Henry Kroes; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Dolores (Leo) Janikowski, Catherine (Robert) Keenan, Rudolph Zerzanek, John Madala, John Polcin, and Louise Kroes.
Relatives and friends may meet with the family on Saturday, October 2, 2010, at the funeral home from 8:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. At 12:30 p.m. the funeral will proceed to St. Rita’s Catholic Church, 4339 Douglas Ave., for A Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 1 p.m.. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Hwy 32. Memorials to St. Rita Catholic Church have been suggested.
