Bruce D. Babington

Bruce Donald Babington, age 60, passed away Sunday March 31, 2013, at Wheaton Franciscan All Saints Medical Center.  He was born in Racine on October 17, 1952, son of the late Donald and Rose (Nee: Stuebe) Babington.

He proudly served in the U.S. Navy.  He had been employed at Jensen Metal Works and Alloy Welding.  Bruce was a handy man and an avid Cubs fan.  He will be dearly missed.

Surviving are his ex-wife and best friend, Donna Thomack; five children, Tammy Adler (Darrick Crawford), Jennifer (Steel) Battisti, Lisa Klass, Donald (Tara) Babington, Nicholas Babington; 13 grandchildren; a brother, Rodney (Debbie) Babington; sister, MaryAnn (Mel) Paquin; nieces, nephews, other relatives and  dear friends.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Curt Olson; and two sisters, Phyllis Gall and Kathy Williams.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, April 4, 2013, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. A memorial service will follow at 11 a.m.
