Surrounded by her loving family, Pia Maria Angelini, age 71, passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2013, at her residence. Pia was born in Ascoli Piceno, Italy, on July 7, 1941, daughter of the late Umberto and Maria (Nee: Forcina) Salvati.
On June 25, 1964, Pia was united in marriage to Egino Angelini. In her younger years she was employed for ten years at Rainfair Inc. She was a member of St. Edward Catholic Church and Vittoria Colonna. An excellent seamstress, Pia also enjoyed embroidery and crocheting. Pia will be fondly remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She will be dearly missed.
Survivors include her loving husband of forty-nine years, Egino; her two children, Francesco (Cheryl) Angelini, Giuditta Angelini; three grandchildren, Luca, Dante and Livia; brothers, Luigi (Sally) Salvati of PA, Dalmazio (Angela) Salvati of Italy; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Domenico (Nicolina) Angelini, Maria (Guglielmo) Angelini of Racine; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 2, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Edward Catholic Church, 1401 Grove Ave., with Rev. Allen Bratkowski officiating. Entombment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Monday at the funeral home from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. (Vittoria Colonna service at 6 p.m.) and Tuesday at the church from 10 a.m. until time of Mass at 10:30 a.m. Memorials to St. Edward Catholic Church have been suggested.
