Jane Bertha Reinhardt, age 90, passed away Tuesday, August 31, 2010, at the Elizabeth Residence. Bertha was born in Cloquet, MN, on April 1, 1920, daughter of the late Henry N. and Christina (Nee: Christiansen) Sabee.
She was united in marriage to William N. Reinhardt who preceded her in death in 1980. She and her husband owned and operated Wilbert Products. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. Bertha was an avid bridge player who belonged to various bridge clubs. She loved traveling, knitting, embroidery, ceramics and crafts. Above all she was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who will be dearly missed.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Richard C. (Linda) Reinhardt of Cherry Valley, IL; her two grandchildren, Michael Reinhardt of Minneapolis, MN, Lisa Reinhardt of Milwaukee, WI; her great grandson, Finn Wellhausen; sister-in-law, Lois Sabee of Appleton, WI; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her daughter, Judith Ann Reinhardt, on September 15, 2009; and three brothers, Reinhardt Sabee, James Sabee and Carl Sabee.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 4, 2010, at 11 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, 3700 Washington Ave., with Rev. Randal A. Poppe officiating. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Saturday at the church from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Private interment will be held at Graceland Cemetery. Memorials to Grace Lutheran Church have been suggested.
The family extends a heartfelt thank you to Lori, Bertha’s caregiver the past two and a half years, for the loving and compassionate attention she showed Bertha.
