On October 25, 1947, at Holy Communion Lutheran Church, Geraldine was united in marriage to Clyde Paddock, who preceded her in death in August of 1980. She was employed by Hamilton Beach for many years as well as Electric Motors and Medical Products until her retirement in 1980. She was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Racine.
She was a member of the Milwaukee Yacht Club for many years. Geraldine was very artistic; her talents spanned from flower arranging, oil painting, ceramics and writing poetry. She was a talented seamstress as well.
She is survived by two granddaughters, Deborah (David) Popodi of Edgerton, WI, and Susan (David) Osinga of Caledonia,WI; four great-grandchildren, Caitlin and Nathan Popodi, Joshua Osinga and Jason (Kelly) Osinga; two great-great-granddaughters, Sophia and Bella Osinga; other relatives and many dear friends, especially Audrey Fowles. In addition to her parents, she also was preceded in death by, her brother, Theodore Hanby; son, Richard Paddock; and great-granddaughter, Amanda Chillquist; and a very special friend and companion, Milton Isaacson.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, June 5, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Relatives and friends are welcome to meet with the family for visitation on Wednesday, from 10 a.m. until time of service. Memorials are suggested to the family, to designate to multiple charities.
