Marilou Wolfman, age 62, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday April 28, 2010, at Froedtert Memorial Hospital due to a brain aneurysm. Marilou was born in Racine February 3, 1948, daughter of the late Joseph and Lucille (nee: Olzewski) Holub.
Marilou graduated from St. Catherine’s High School “Class of 1966.” On May 4, 1968, at St. Lucy’s Church, Marilou was united in marriage to Alan D. Wolfman. Marilou was a dedicated and caring nurse for the past twenty years at the Becker-Shoop Center. She will be best remembered as a loving wife and mother, and a dear friend to all. Marilou will be dearly missed.
Survivors include her loving husband of forty-two years, Alan of Kenosha; her children, Zach Wolfman of Racine, Abbey Wolfman of DeKalb, IL; sisters, Marilyn (William) Staebler of Stevens Point, Mary Jo Haluska of Racine; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Gail Larson of Las Vegas, Linda (Dennis) Worm of South Milwaukee, Mark (Teri) Wolfman of Oregon, WI; nieces and nephews; Dee Dee Kovara, a special friend of fifty years.
Memorial services will be held at the funeral home Sunday May 2, 2010, at 5 p.m., with Chaplain Heather Bumstead officiating. Private entombment will be held. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home Sunday from 3 p.m. until time of service at 5 p.m.
