Betty J. Bullette (nee Shultz), passed away on January 29, 2013, in Malvern, AR. She was born in Pepin, WI, on August 26, 1923. She attended Park High School and graduated in 1941.
Betty was employed by J.I. Case Company, Main Office, and by Drs. Nelson & Ericson. She was united in marriage to Donald J. Bullette on Sept. 11, 1948. He preceded her in death on January 3, 1967.
Betty moved to Tulsa, OK, in 1983 and later to Florida, returning to Racine in 2000. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, knitting and crafts. She is survived by a son, Markham (Janet) of Hot Springs Village, AR; a daughter, Lori (James) Douglas of West Palm Beach, FL; and grandchildren, Luke (Darlene) Douglas of Chicago, IL, Meredith (Jeffrey) McMurtrie of Orlando, FL, Rev. Donald (Crystal) Bullette of Cortland, IL, and Rev. Peter (Aimee) Bullette of Charlottesville, VA. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 6, 2013, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Graceland Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Wednesday at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, Betty requested memorials to Smile Train, www.smiletrain.org, providing cleft palate surgery in developing nations.
