Elsie M. Ancinec

Elsie M. Ancinec, age 93, passed away on Tuesday, January 8, 2013, at Lincoln Village Convalescent Center. Elsie was born in Racine on November 22, 1919, daughter of the late Frank and Ottilie (Nee: Mattal) Ancinec.

Elsie’s employment included working at Western Advertising Agency and Bozell & Jacobs. She was a lifetime member of St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church and sang in their choir. She also enjoyed singing with the Racine Chorale Group.

Survivors include her sister, Marion O. Brennan of Kentucky; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Frances J. Luhn.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, January 14, 2013, at 11 a.m. at St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church, 1903 Green St. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Hwy 32. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Monday at the church from 10 a.m. until time of Mass. Memorials to St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church have been suggested.
