Nancy J. Killberg, age 63, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 2, 2013, at Wheaton Franciscan – All Saints Medical Center. Nancy was born in Racine on March 5, 1949, daughter of Earl and Mavis (Nee: Melcher) Kettinger.
Nancy was a graduate of William Horlick High School “Class of 1967.” On August 28, 1971, at St. Patrick Catholic Church she was united in marriage to Terry A. Killberg. Nancy was currently employed by Wheaton Franciscan – All Saints in the Orthopedic Department. She was previously employed at the Wisconsin Gas Company and KinderCare. She was a member of St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church. Nancy enjoyed gardening, but more than anything she treasured time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed.
Survivors include her loving husband of forty-one years, Terry; her children, Michael (Amanda) Killberg of Bristol, Steven A. Killberg of Caledonia, Megan (Dan) Miller of Caledonia; her five grandchildren, Colin and Peyton Killberg, Gabriel Killberg, Lauren and Ethan Miller; her parents, Earl (Mavis) Kettinger; sister, Carol (Guenther) Lippold; brother, James (Mary) Kettinger, all of Caledonia; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Todd Killberg of LaCrosse, Glen (Kathy) Killberg of Denver, CO; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Chuck (Dorothy) Killberg.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, January 7, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. at St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church, 1903 Green St., with Rev. Don Zerkel officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Hwy 32. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Sunday at the funeral home from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. and Monday at the church from 10 a.m. until time of Mass at 10:30 a.m.
