David W. Woodward

David W. Woodward, age 62, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2012, at his residence. David was born in Racine on December 22, 1949, son of Creighton H. and Dawn M. (Nee: Rosga) Woodward.

David graduated from William Horlick High School, “Class of 1967.” During the Vietnam War he served in the United States Army. Through the years David worked in various trades and was last employed as a painter.

Survivors include his mother, Dawn Woodward; his daughters, Lisa Hall, Paula Woodward; his brothers and sisters, Robert (Cynthia) Woodward, Dennis Woodward, Phyllis (Mike) Cadersi, Debbie (Al) Hall, Denise (Tom) Hurbes, Laurie (George) Vargas, Carol (Donny) Boyd, Tammy Woodward, and Maxine (Matthew) Frusher; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda; his daughter, Rita; his son, David Jr.; his granddaughter, Walene; his father, Creighton H. Woodward; and by his brother, Paul “Kong” Woodward.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 1, 2012, at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment with full military honors will be held at the Southern Wisconsin Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, Town of Dover. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. until time of service at 11:30 a.m.
