Mildred M, Jensen, age 92, passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2012, at her residence. Mildred was born in Warsaw, Indiana, on February 22, 1919, daughter of the late Edward and Marie (Nee:Laughlin) Griesinger. She was united in marriage to Gordon R. Jensen, who preceded her in death in 1997.
Survivors include her daughter, Judith Burns of Racine; her son and daughter-in-law, Bruce (Chris) Jensen of Madison; her granddaughter, Susan Burns of Racine; sister, Thelma Goering and brother, Charles Griesinger, all of Fort Wayne, IN; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Wanda.
Funeral services will be held at the funeral home, Thursday, January 19, 2012, at noon, with Rev. John Mundt officiating. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home, Thursday from 11 a.m. until time of service. Private interment will be held at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Town of Dover. Memorials to the American Diabetes Association have been suggested by the family.
