Ronald Krueger (“Crusher” to his friends), 51, began his new life in his heavenly home on Thursday, January 19, 2012. He was born on April 30, 1960, and spent the remainder of his earthly life in Racine, WI. Ron’s life was not an easy one, but he fought a long, hard battle against his failing body.
He was a big guy with a big heart who loved his family and spending time with them. He loved his Packers ("Go Pack” was one of the last things we heard from him). Ron loved spending time on the lakefront, fishing, “fish tales,” and sharing really bad jokes. He had a beautiful voice and loved singing karaoké. His favorite “hangout” was the internet, where he kept in contact with family, old friends and made many new ones. He enjoyed seeing the smiles of many children while happily delivering ice cream. Kids waited eagerly to see his truck come around the corner.
Ron will be sadly missed by two sisters and their families, Lynda (Ken) Killberg (Katie and Ben) and Teresa (Dan) Mullenberg (Troy, Danielle and Chad); sister-in-law, Sandy Krueger (Kathi, Jennifer and Kristin); stepfather, Richard Fowler; five great-nieces and five great-nephews.
No memorial service is planned in Racine. Ron’s life will be celebrated by his family in Oklahoma, where he will be placed to rest with his parents, Carlyle and Betty Krueger, and his brother, Bill Krueger. Thank you all for your loving thoughts and prayers. Ron will now be able to live the life he dreamed of.
