Rachel L. Teloh, age 89, passed away Thursday, August 16, 2012, at Wheaton Franciscan –All Saints Medical Center. Rachel was born in St. Brieux, Canada, May 13, 1923, daughter of the late William W. and Regina L. (Nee: Dagenals) Champagne.
On September 7, 1940, she was united in marriage to Harley R. Teloh who preceded her in death in 1989. Rachel was a school bus driver for seventeen years. She was a member at St. Mathew Catholic Church, Oak Creek. Rachel enjoyed crocheting and knitting fancy sweaters, playing cards and games. More than anything, she treasured time spent with family and friends. Rachel was a brave, intelligent and elegant lady who will be deeply missed.
Survivors include her children, Lloyd Teloh, Jeffrey (Nancy) Teloh, all of Racine, Mark (Susan) Teloh, Doraine (Tony) Melton, all of Orlando, FL; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers, Rupert Champagne of CA; Harold (Ramona) Champagne of New Berlin; sister, Joyce (Roy) Thiebert of Minnesota; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Wayne; her brother, Lester; and her daughter-in-law, Mary Teloh.
Everyone is invited to the funeral home to celebrate Rachel’s life on Sunday from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m.
