Frances J. (Nordstrom) Petrick

Frances J. Petrick, age 92, passed away Sunday, November 18, 2012, at Walnut Grove Assisted Living Home. She was born in Thermopolis, WY, on June 4, 1920, daughter of the late Walter and Ethel Mae (Nee: Root) Nordstrom.

On February 1, 1941, Frances was united in marriage to Joseph Petrick, who preceded her in death. She and Joe were both retirees of the J.I. Case Co. Frances was an excellent cook and seamstress and enjoyed gardening. Above all she devoted her life to her family and will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Dianne (James) Udell; grandchildren, Lisa Udell and Michael Udell; sister Doris Pofahl; beloved great-grand dog, Bandit; nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she also was preceded in death by her sister and brothers-in-law, Arlene (Chris) Christensen, Richard Pofahl; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Regina (Stanley) Staszewski, Clara (Roy) Petersen, Nancy (Edward) Petrick, Rose (Max) Krueger.

Private funeral services were held with interment at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Town of Dover.
