Linda A. (Griffin) Teschler

Linda A. Teschler, age 72, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, November 18, 2012, at her residence.  Linda was born in Racine on July 8, 1940, daughter of the late Oswald and Mildred (nee: Recob) Griffin.

Linda was a proud graduate of St. Catherine’s High School “Class of 1958.”   She retired in 2008 from BASF-formerly Johnson Polymer, and had been previously employed with EDS for many years.  Linda was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.  She enjoyed family outings and get-togethers.  She will be best remembered for her love and dedication to her family, especially caring for her mother. Linda will be dearly missed.

Survivors include her sons, Michael (Elizabeth) Horvath, Scott (Christina) Horvath; granddaughter, Callie Waters; sisters, Mary (Jim) Derderian, Susan (Terry) Toms, all of Racine; brother, Michael (Connie) Griffin of Eau Claire, WI; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1533 Erie St., on Friday November 23, 2012, at 11 a.m., with Rev. Steve Varghese officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Hwy 32.  Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the church Friday from 10 a.m. until time of Mass.  Memorials to St. Joseph Catholic Church have been suggested.
