Margaret H. Strausser, age 92, passed away on Monday, July 1, 2013, at Oak Ridge Care Center. Margaret was born in Racine on September 9, 1920, daughter of the late Rudolph and Katie (Nee: Rittman) Zauner. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church.
Survivors include her children, Robert Strausser, Lori Strausser, Cheryl Strausser; grandchildren; brother, Robert (Mary) Zauner; nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Rudolph Zauner; and sisters, Agnes (Robert) Johnston, Catherine Danek.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 5, 2013, at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 1100 Erie St., with Rev. Esteban Redolad officiating, assisted by Deacon Russell Missureli. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Garden Mausoleum, Hwy 32. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Friday at the church from 10 a.m. until time of Mass at 11 a.m.
