Chicago -- Debra A. Wilson, age 58, passed away on Wednesday, October 1, 2014, at her residence. She was born in Racine on July 20, 1956, daughter of Earl and Carolyn (Nee: Kries) Lakvold. She was a graduate of Wm. Horlick High School, “Class of 1974.”
While living in Illinois, Debra was employed as a Delicatessen Manager in the grocery industry for many years. She also worked part-time in sales, as an Avon Lady, for thirty years. She loved her dogs and taking them for their daily walks. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends and she was way too young to leave us.
Surviving are her father, Earl; brother, Larry Lakvold; sister and brother-in-law, Karen (David) Hegeman; cherished niece and nephew, Amanda (Nick) Pilger and Andrew Hegeman; her faithful furry canine companion, Diamond. She was preceded in death by her mother, Carolyn; and her brother, Gary.
A time of remembering and visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Private interment will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery, Hwy. 32. Memorials to the American Heart Association has been suggested.
