Kenosha -- Donna Marie Theisen, age 72, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 11, 2014, at Clairidge House in Kenosha. She was born in Racine on May 14, 1942, daughter of the late John and Adeline (Nee: DiChristopher) Capasso.
Donna graduated from St. Catherine’s High School, “Class of 1960.” She was employed by Wisconsin Bell for 30 years, retiring in 1994 from AT&T. Donna was a member of Calvary Memorial Church. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, dancing, bowling, camping, the Packers and Brewers, chocolate and just about anything sweet. More than anything, she treasured time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be dearly missed.
Surviving are her daughter, Cari Theisen; son, Craig (Kellie) Theisen; grandchildren, Hope Anderson, Victoria (Eric) Tapp, Rylen Theisen; great-grandchildren, Nicholas Ortiz and Olivia Lopez; siblings, Kathleen (Terry) Hempel of Menomonee Falls, WI, Denise (William) Schwarz of Las Vegas, NV, James J. (Sara) Capasso of Racine; good friend and former husband, Raymond Theisen; nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
A Memorial Service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, October 17, 2014, at 11 a.m. with Reverend Nathan James officiating. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Garden Mausoleum, Hwy 32. Relatives and friends may meet at the funeral home on Friday from 10 a.m. until time of service.
