Connie Jean Gleason, born Dec. 11, 1962, in Racine, Wisconsin, passed away on Nov. 27, 2014, at the Hospice house in Racine, with her family by her side, after a long, brave battle with cancer.
She graduated from Olympia Brown in 1984. Connie loved going to Careers Industries to work, participating in Special Olympics, going on Able Trek Tours, and watching Professional Wrestling. She also enjoyed family trips, especially going to different casinos. She brought joy and love to all of her family and friends.
Connie is survived by her parents Roger and Hope Gleason of Racine; her brother, David of Kenosha; her sister, Donna of Racine; nephew, Jonathon Schmeckel of St. Francis; and niece, Kayla Schmeckel of Union Grove. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held the funeral home on Monday, December 1, 2014, from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. At 11 a.m. funeral services will be held with Chaplain Terry Peterson officiating. Private interment will be held at West Lawn Memorial Park.
