Daryl W. Thomas

Daryl W. Thomas, age 56, passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2014, at his residence. Daryl was born in Superior, WI, on January 10, 1958, son of Daryl J. and Jeannine (Nee: Miller) Thomas.

On May 19, 2013, he was united in marriage to Sandy J. Braden and they shared twenty-one beautiful years together.

Daryl was employed by Jacobsen Manufacturing for thirteen years, retiring in 2000. A well-known bass player, Daryl played bass guitar in various classic rock bands in the Racine area. Daryl enjoyed music, science, politics and bicycling. He will be dearly missed.

Survivors include his loving wife, Sandy; his son, Michael Thomas of Racine; his daughter, Rebecca Braden of Racine; his mother, Jeannine Cross of Racine; good friend, Sona Thomas; many other dear relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Daryl J. Thomas.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, November 17, 2014, at 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until time of service at 6 p.m. Memorials to the family would be appreciated.
