Barbara J. (Braun) Olson

Surrounded by her loving family, Barbara J. Olson, age 63, passed away Monday, June 28, 2010, at Ridgewood Care Center. Barbara was born in Racine, WI, on May 3, 1947, daughter of Martin G. and Lucille J. (Nee: Klinkhammer) Braun.

Barbara was employed as a dispatcher by Payne and Dolan for many years. She was a movie buff who also enjoyed fishing and playing cards. She will be deeply missed.

Survivors include her loving mother, Lucille J. Braun; her brother, Joseph (Peggy) Braun of Holcomb, WI; sister, Patricia Gray of Chippewa Falls, WI; special uncle, Ed Klinkhammer; uncle, Louis Klinkhammer; good friends, Larry (Myra) Olson; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Martin G. Braun.

Graveside services will be held at West Lawn Memorial Park Chapel, 9000 Washington Ave., Friday, July 2, 2010, at 11 a.m. with Rev. John D. Aiello officiating.

Barbara’s family wishes to extend a special thank you to her mother and to the attending physicians and caregivers at Ridgewood Care Center for their loving and compassionate care given to Barbara.
