Virginia F. Fahrenbach, age 95, passed away Monday, June 14, 2010. at her residence. Virginia was born in Racine, October 19, 1914, daughter of the late Harold and Florence (Nee: Bullette) Fahrenbach.
On July 26, 1932, in Crown Point, IN, she was united in marriage to Warren E. Fahrenbach who preceded her in death, April 22, 2003. Virginia was an active member of the YWCA, YMCA, and the Racine Athletic Club. She devoted her life to her family and will be dearly missed.
Survivors include her daughter, Kay (Donald) Beadles; her son-in-law, Ron Thompson; her five grandchildren, Brett (Janet) Thompson, Shea (Wendy) Thompson, Patrick (Andrea) Beadles, Colleen (Greg) Larson, Michael (Roselinda) Beadles; many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Loretta O’Neil, Alyce O’Neil; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by her daughter, Karen Thompson; sister, Patricia Peuschold; and three brothers, Harold, Kenneth and Lyle O’Neil.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 16, 2010, at 1 p.m. at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 40 Ohio St., with Rev. Victoria Millar and Rev. Melanie Hammond-Clark officiating. Interment will follow at Mound Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Wednesday at the church from noon until time of service at 1 p.m. Memorials to Covenant Presbyterian Church or to one’s favorite charity have been suggested.
