Patrick Michel Pissard, age 54, passed away peacefully at his home with his loving family and friends at his side, after fighting a hard battle with cancer on June 8, 2010.
Patrick was born in Paris, France, March 29, 1955, son of Georges René Pissard, and Suzanne Geneviéve (Nee: Dubruylle) Pissard Peterson. Patrick and his family came to live in Racine in 1971.
Patrick was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing and being with his friends, hosting many Packer parties.
Survivors include his granddaughter, Faith Pissard; his grandson, Dante Pissard; mother, Suzanne Pissard Peterson of Racine; brother, George (Ann (Nee: Brackhahn) Pissard of Waterford; nieces, Kristal Pissard and Dominique Pissard of Racine; nephews, Jeremy Pissard of Racine and Jacques Pissard of Kenosha and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his father, Georges; his daughter, Narissa; and his brother, Jacques Louis Pissard.
Relatives and friends may meet Monday, June 14, 2010, from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Private interment will be held at Graceland Cemetery.
A special thanks to Jackie, Judy, Diane, Amy, and Chaplin Terry Peterson from Southeastern Wisconsin Hospice Care for their faithfulness in keeping Patrick in their special care during his time of need. And to Margaret Haigh, Patrick’s girlfriend, for opening her heart and home to the whole family.
