Frank Cruz

Frank Cruz, age 51, passed away Monday, March 25, 2013, at his residence. Frank was born in Salinas, CA, on January 3, 1962.

He was united in marriage to Beatrice Bermudez who preceded him in death on January 21, 2012. Frank was employed by C.W. Purpero Inc and was a member of Cristo Rey Catholic Church. He was a huge Dallas Cowboys fan. Above all, Frank was a family man, an excellent cook who loved cookouts, and he took great pride in his low-rider collector Cadillac. He will be dearly missed.

Survivors include his three children, Martha (Eric) Richter, Maria (Ismael) Reynoso, Destiny Cruz; seven grandchildren, Heather, Erica, Kelly, Adrian, Vanessa, Alexis and William; mother-in-law, Felisitas Loredo; sisters and brothers, Alejandrina (Jr.) Villalobos, Mary Lopez, Juan (Lucy) Cruz, Miguel (Sandra) Cruz; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Maria I. Bermudez, Lupe Bermudez; his faithful companions, Cookie and Daisy; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his son, John; and mother, Victoriana Sanchez Cruz.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, April 6, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, 801 College Ave., with Rev. Antony Thomas officiating. Private interment will be held. Relatives and friends may meet with the family on Friday, April 5, at the funeral home from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. and Saturday at the church from 10:30 a.m. until time of Mass at 11 a.m.

In Frank’s honor, please wear burgurdy or white clothing in support of head and neck cancer.
