Ana Maria Santiago, age 88, passed away Saturday, May 8, 2010, at Wheaton Franciscan All Saints Medical Center. Ana was born in Ciales, Puerto Rico, July 7, 1921, daughter of the late Juan and Maria (Nee: Rios) Nunez.
Surviving are her children, Atilano (Elba) Santiago, Matilde Santiago, Nelly Santiago, Delly Santiago and Rev. Roberto Morales, Naomi Santiago, Ramone Serrano, Ana Rosa Serrano, Virginia (Luis) Otero, Carlos Santiago and Felipe Santiago; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Carlos Santiago; and a daughter, Magdalena Serrano.
Funeral services will be held at Spanish Pentecostal Church, 601 High St., Friday, May 14, 2010, at noon. Interment will follow at Graceland Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the church, Thursday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
