Joanne E. (Schoeffler) Olson

Joanne E. Olson, age 57, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 11, 2010, at Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare. Joanne was born in Racine on February 1, 1953, daughter of the late Frederick and Eleanor (nee: Golz) Schoeffler and had been a lifelong Racine resident.

On April 29, 2002, in Las Vegas, NV, Joanne was united in marriage to Randolph Olson. Through the years, Joanne was employed as a computer analyst for Webster Electric, Danfoss and was last working at Pentaire. She was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church. Joanne enjoyed playing in the DDR Cribbage League for twenty years. Her pastimes included reading, needlework, and cross-stitch. Joanne loved her two cats, Licorice and Pudding. She will be dearly missed.

Survivors include her loving husband, Randy; her mother-in-law, Rosemary Olson; her three stepchildren, Paul Olson, Deborah Olson, Michelle (David) Bauer; sisters and brother, Judith (Randall) Nelsen, Linda Schoeffler, David Schoeffler, Susan (James) Sanford; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Michael (Andrea) Olson, Christopher (Laurie) Olson, Monica (Scott) Graham, Joanne (Carl) Klawinski; her nephews, Jamie (Jody) Auman, Brian (Chris) Auman, Michael Edler; great-niece, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Jeffery; and father-in-law, William J. Olson.

Private funeral services were held.
