Judith C. Roushia (nee, Noble), 73, passed away at Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare – All Saints on May 5, 2010.
Judith Carol was born in Racine on July 14, 1936, and lived most of her adult life in Illinois. She returned to Racine in 2007.
Judith Roushia was employed at Connomac Corporation for 30 years and retired in the early 1990s. She was a Chicago Cubs fan, Green Bay Packers fan and a Chicago Bears fan. She was an avid reader of romance novels. She enjoyed bingo, word searches and her popcorn and movies. Her favorite movies were “The Wizard of Oz” and “Titanic.” She had fun shopping at Wal-Mart. Her favorite color was green and her favorite animal was the koala bear. Judith was a lover of country music, but her favorite singer was Frank Sinatra with his song “New York, New York." But most of all these things, she loved her cat, Kitty.
Judith is survived by four children, Cynthia (Fred) Padgett, Lisa (Roderick) Ives, Kim (Robert) Emmerling and William Roushia; eight grandchildren, Jessica (Joshua) Mooi, Fred Padgett IV, Tina Marie Badaracco, Nichole (Jason) Rassehl, Megan (TJ) Jensen, Christine Gaulke, Courtney Roushia and Jamie Simonsen; five great-grandchildren, Robert Frank Fale III, Lilly Belle Fale, Ella June Fale, Levi Blake Jensen and Brianna Nadine Jensen; her beloved cat, Kitty; plus many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by two sons, Michael Roushia and Wayne Roushia Jr.; one granddaughter, Sandra Roushia; one great-grandson, Zachary Taylor Jensen; and Wayne Roushia Sr.
Funeral services will be held at the Wilson Funeral Home on Saturday, May 8, 2010, at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends may meet with the family from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
