Henrietta M. Helbling, age 86, passed away Saturday, November 13, 2010, at Select Specialty Hospital, West Allis, WI. Henrietta was born in Racine, December 30, 1923, daughter of the late Anthony and Mary A. (Nee: Buran) Kralicek.
On November 23, 1944, Henrietta was united in marriage to Robert W. Helbling at St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church. He preceded her in death this past May 12, 2010. She was a longtime member of St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church where she served as President of Christian Mothers. Henrietta was an excellent cook and baker who will be fondly remembered for her delicious pies and kolaches. She enjoyed casinos, bowling, camping, fishing, and spending time with her family at their cabin in Manitowish Waters. Most of all, Henrietta treasured time spent with her family. She will be deeply missed.
Survivors include her seven children, Richard (June) Helbling of Crossville, TN, Judith (Gary) David of Sheboygan, Robert (Barbara)Helbling of Racine, David (Beverly) Helbling of East Troy, Patrick (Kim) Helbling of Oshkosh, Mary (Ron) Feest of Big Flats, WI, Jeffrey Helbling (Nancy Massenza) of Racine; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild and another great-great granddaughter on its way; sisters, Elsie Budzinski, Kathleen Marsh; brother, Tony Kralicek, all of Racine; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Beverly (Orville) Solfest of Rockford, IL, Earl Pfleger of Kenosha; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her sisters, Mae Pfleger and Frances Helbling.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, November 17, 2010, at 11 a.m. at St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church, 1903 Green St., with Rev. Don Zerkel officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Hwy 32. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Wednesday at the church from 10 a.m. until time of Mass at 11 a.m. Memorials to St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church have been suggested.
