Thomas E. Kruppstadt, 74, passed away at his home on Thursday, November 4, 2010.
Tom was born in Racine on May 29, 1936, to Louis and Grace (nee, Lamberton) Kruppstadt. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1956 until 1959. Tom married the former Sandra Bauer in West Bend, WI, in 1962. For most of his life Tom was in sales in the furniture business, last working as a driver for S.C. Johnson. Some of his favorite activities were playing golf, fishing, playing cards and spending time with his family and many friends.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra Kruppstadt; children, Robert Kruppstadt, Jennifer Ebben and Laura (Gabe) Kluka; grandchildren, Jessica, Mark, Annie and Thomas; great-grand-daughter, Laine; and his brothers, Robert Kruppstadt, John (Lori) Kruppstadt and Paul (Gail) Kruppstadt. Tom is also survived by other relatives. He was preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law, Virginia and Don Poisl.
The Mass of Christian Burial for Tom will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, corner of Erie and St. Patrick Streets, on Tuesday, November 9, 2010, at 11 a.m. celebrated by Rev. John Aiello. Interment will take place at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Monday evening from 4 until 7 p.m. and at the church on Tuesday morning from 10 a.m. until the time of Mass. Memorials may be directed to Hospice Alliance.
